Triple anniversary at Braunform – 110 years of combined experience

There is cause for celebration at Braunform: three valued colleagues are celebrating impressive anniversaries together – Andreas Rinklin 40 years, Volker Kreutner 45 years, and Nico Kramer 25 years of service. Their stories are not only testimonials to professional development, but also expressions of commitment, team spirit, and personal passion.

Andreas Rinklin – 40 years of precision and creativity

Andreas Rinklin began his career at Braunform with an apprenticeship as a toolmaker. His talent for eroding on AGIE machines became apparent early on, and he worked there for around 14 years. In 2000, he moved into electrode production and became an expert in the field of CAD/CAM. Today, he programs complex milling processes – from 3-axis to simultaneous machining – and has a decisive influence on electrode manufacturing with his expertise. But Andreas is much more than a technical professional: in his free time, he indulges his creative side – as a guitarist in his own rock band, which writes and composes exclusively its own songs. He even built one of his guitars himself. He is also enthusiastic about creating animated films on the computer. His supervisor, Volker Kreutner, aptly describes him as “a creative mind with extraordinary dedication who impresses with his reliability, perseverance, and ability to work in a team.”

Volker Kreutner – 45 years of leadership and innovative spirit

Volker Kreutner, affectionately known as “Mr. 100%” by his colleagues, is a true veteran at Braunform. His career also began in electrical discharge machining, where he worked for over 16 years – even on prototypes of AGIE machines before their market launch. After completing his master craftsman's examination in toolmaking, he took on various roles in production before taking over as head of the CAM/electrode milling/HSC milling department in 2008. Under his leadership, processes were automated, production times shortened, and new technologies introduced that revolutionized manufacturing. Volker is not only a role model professionally, but also personally: as a former soccer player and youth coach, he lives and breathes team spirit outside the company as well. He brings humor and heart to the company – and, as a fan of Borussia Mönchengladbach, he bravely stands up to the fan bases of SC Freiburg and FC Bayern. He is especially proud of his first grandchild, who is currently bringing him a lot of joy.

Nico Kramer – 25 years of expertise and passion

Nico Kramer has been a fixture at Braunform for a quarter of a century. As head of work preparation, he coordinates order distribution and is responsible for outsourcing all technologies. With his in-depth expertise, he actively participates in design discussions and provides valuable input on manufacturing, material selection, and surface treatment. His involvement in the introduction of the Proleis planning program and the integration of Creo into work preparation was particularly influential. His colleagues value him as a conscientious, reliable, and technically skilled person. In his private life, Nico is a father of two, a passionate camper at Lake Tunisee, and a loyal FC Bayern fan.
