30.06.2014

Bahlingen a. K., Germany - Great honor for Braunform: The company is one of the best employers of the German medium-sized companies (SME), and for that it has been awarded with the "Top Job" Award. "Top Job" mentor Wolfgang Clement honored the company in the German SME Summit in Essen on June 27. This was preceded by an employee survey in regard to employee satisfaction and leadership quality, which was conducted by the Institute for Leadership and Human Resource Management at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.

In the comparison of companies, which takes place since 2002, Braunform convinced especially in the categories of „Identification with the company and its products“ and „Job Security“.  The company, with 315 employees, is aiming to long job tenure through targeted staff development as well as a private knowledge and health management. Recurring vaccination campaigns, department presentations, driving safety courses and cooking classes are included in the offer as well as an annually Children's Day for the children of employees or the support of charitable projects proposed by employees. The issue of education and especially the transfer to a permanent employment directly after finishing the apprenticeship have a high priority.

Some professionals can already look back on a long Braunform career in which they, as the staff survey confirmed, highlighted very positively the modern and secure industrial working places. Further to the employment of two full-time trainers in addition to the respective instructors and training officers in the various departments, one thing is very important for HR Manager Oliver Bornhäuser: "The management is 100% behind the topic of apprenticeship".

The official "Top Job" seal is awarded to the positive development in recent years, as founder and CEO Erich Braun emphasized. "We are very proud of it. We are particularly pleased about the feedback of our employees, because it is the identification with a family-run business and pride in one's own products that are of fundamental importance. The company wants to use the results of the benchmarking and suggestions of employees to work every day to get better.

The Institute for Leadership and Human Resource Management at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland, under the direction of Prof. Dr. Heike Bruch, analyzes all the participating SMEs. The scientists determined the employer attractiveness from two perspectives: First, they surveyed the HR Management according to the used methods and tools of personnel management. On the other hand, they conducted an employee survey, the centerpiece of the "Top Job" analysis. Here the staff provided information about their satisfaction with the work environment, the quality of leadership and their identification with the company and its products.

General visual material of the ceremony is available from 30. June 2014 in the press area of www.topjob.de.
